This is going so fast! I can't wait to see this when it is done. Although it is a bit of drive, I definitly intend to see this in person upon completion!

This is a very impressive skyscraper both in height and design for a relatively small sprawl-ville American city.

It's because OKC has had a remarkable urban renaissance in the inner-city the past 15 years and presently. It's the driving force behind all the projects you see going downtown, even this tower.

Anyways, I'm rambling. Here's an April 30th update by DelCamino at OKCtalk.com

Really exciting project this one - should look very good when finished. What do Oklahomans' think about it? Is it popular with the press and local population?

And how many Tulsans have you heard not like it? Serious question btw. I personally haven't heard anyone say anything about it. It's either we don't care or for the most part, I'd say 98.9% of the population up here doesn't even know about it to be honest. And the few people I know that have mentioned it say they think it's really neat. I think it's awesome and it's about time one of our cities gets a new tower, especially one such as this beauty. Keep the updates coming.

Ah, you mean the very few who even know Tulsa currently holds the tallest... And even most of them probably don't even care, not saying some people don't. Hey idk though, I'm just kinda speaking for them I suppose. But yes you are correct, there are some that are frustrated.

Don't worry I wasn't meaning anything by my comments, sorry if it seemed that way. I just wanted to discuss a couple little things.

Tulsan's don't care if we lose the tallest building title. We still have the prettiest, cleanest, most cosmopolitan, family friendly, manageable, dense, cultural, artsy, architecturally stunning, greenest, peaceful, musical, and vibrant city in the state. OKC can keep growing its cookie cutter housing and south Chicago neighborhoods, while Tulsa shines. As far as i'm concerned the Devon Tower would look much better in Tulsa. The only thing i envy about OKC is that it is the capital and that Stillwater is in it's sphere of influence more than Tulsa nowadays. That's about it. Love the Devon Tower btw
