The Colcord roof is 145 feet, for reference, so Devon is quite a bit bigger than that. I'd say it's getting close to 200 ft.

Amazingly, this is what the site looked like less than one year ago in October of 2009.

Devon compared to Colcord from afar

plmccordj on Okc Talk posted this image and it does a good job of illustrating the difference in height of the two buildings. The colcord is in front and to right side of the Devon tower, which by the way is massive in girth in comparison to most of the other towers in the CBD, so it will dominate in more that just verticallity!

Wow, that view does begin to put in perspective.

Has anyone heard of any further updates to the Colcord?

I really like the look of the parking garage! I think they did a good job blending it with the skyline view from the Art District. Looks like the podium is starting to come up out of the ground too.

yeah, they area actually completing the 12th floor now. ...

And I agree Shane, the parking structure does look a lot better than I thought it would. Definitely creates an urban wall along Hudson; and will be even better once those storefronts are leased!

I was just going to ask if those were store frnts along the garage's ground floor. Thats nice they incorporated retail space.

There should be a lot more retail space in the podium portion of the office building, facing the plaza. Definitely opening up the area around the Arts District to a buildup of retail. And there will be 3,500 potential customers in the same building as any shop that decides to open there.

Thanks for posting. It's cool to see it from a distance as well. Can't wait to see this tower dominate OKC.
