^ Yea if the majority of the people are christian then the only contraversy would be in removing the symbol of their faith because it irritates a couple random people...

I like how this tower gives oklahoma city an actual skyline now!!! I hope every small city in america can follow suit and get atleast one prominent building to create a defined skyline...

I don't see how the crosses are disrespectful to people of other faiths... What would be disrespectful is to complain about the right for people to display such symbols.

I'm non-religious and I don't have a problem with them at all.

Anyways, this building is fantastic! So cool to see such a tall building built in a lesser known American city.

Yep, I am against anyone trying to remove what folks want just cause they think it's not fair to others. Get your own building, light up a religious symbol of your choice and quit whinin'!

i just think two crosses is a bit much. I would like one with a cross and one with something else, like a tree or a star or something 'original'.

and in Christianity, the cross is an easter symbol (ie. Christian symbol, death/resurrection/salvation/trinity) not a Christmas symbol. so twin crosses in christmas time comes off as heavily christian and not very christmas.

and I am a christian but am also tolerant of other faiths and dont force christianity/catholicism on everyone. ...

Nevertheless, hopefully devon will offer something different - Im sure of it. Probably Red/Green colour schemes - which is what other cities do.

That would be nice and festive. Most of the skyscrapers in Columbus are lit red and green during the holidays. Devons LEDS would probably be seen for miles and miles. It'd be sweet (no pun) if they had the indentions lit red and white alternating like a candy cane too.

Well you aware that those are privately owned buildings and that they can light up building like a cross if they want to. Also those crosses are up year round and have nothing to do with christmas.

No- as has been said already, they are only up in December and the beginning of January. They do not light up during the remainder of the year. Just a Christmas tradition on our skyline.

Have there been any more light testing done on more panels? A while back there were pics of just one panel lit up. They must be testing more panels by now right?

I can't wait until it passes the Chase Tower, this thing is going to overshadow everything. Good shots from the South.

I agree it looks more W than NW.
It's progressed so much from when I first saw it from this camera.
