By the way, for what it's worth, according to Pete over at OKCTalk, they have stopped installing the glass on Devon Tower untill the crown is finished, which should be by the end of this month.

I sure do hope so. That's all it needs is a nice 650+ foot tower to help blend in.

That's exactly what I'm thinking! Devon is a BEAUTIFUL building but it needs a little sister IMO.

Devon Tower could definitely use a little sister tower, the current OKC skyline goes, highrise..highrise..highrise..MASSIVE SKYSCRAPER

Devon is damn gorgeous though! I have an aunt and uncle in OKC, and I might just have to see them and take a visit over to Devon

Actually there are rumors that another monster building will be announced soon and it'll be taller then Devon. But nothing concrete has been said besides this rumor so I won't believe it till I see it, just thought it was interesting.

If he's talking about the rumored Sandridge tower, I'd be shocked if it's taller than Devon, but wouldn't be shocked if it's taller than 500'.

There's no way it's Sandridge. The only company in OKC that would be big enough to fill a tower the size of Devon's or something potentially bigger would be Chesapeake. However, we all know that they prefer their campus style HQ.

Sandridge would be pushing it with 500', in my opinion. Unless they were to sell off their current digs and start from scratch. Then they could potentially fill a bigger tower.

They taking a tour next week but they wont be allowed to take pictures . Didn't know if this info was already out there but that is what i heard.

Well, we're hearing that Sandridge is growing to beat the band. The initial rumors were 20 stories. Then it grew to 25 or more. Now, with today's floor-to-ceiling heights that would put it as tall as the existing main tower, which would be odd in my mind. So, if they're growing - and if they care to make a statement - I'd imagine something significantly taller than the nearly 400' main tower.

Thanks for the information. I thought Continental from Enid, OK was one of the buyers?

So what are we to think of the renovations and building expansions that they are doing right now around their current tower? Are they going to throw a 400-500 foot tower near there or somewhere else downtown? I didn't think there was that much space in that part? That's what throws me off.

The space is apparently plenty big. If they can go 20-25 stories then they can go 500'.

I see... Hmm. I know vaguely that this is all just rumors, but is there a timeline as to when we can expect an announcement?
