Forget Kansas City. Everything's up to date in Oklahoma City! They've gone about as fer as they can go. They went and built a skyscraper 52 storeys high; 'bout as high as a building oughta grow.

But seriously, the little city must be doing something right if they have the tallest building under construction in the U.S. outside of New York.

It may have two sides to go, but it has reached it's full height, therefore, it's topped out

I'd just like to add that when Devon announced plans for it's tower, the public was told it would be atleast 37 storys and be OKC's tallest!Well, the Devon tower is OKC's tallest but it is 50 storys tall!I hope that Sandridge is downplaying the height alittle like Devon did!

How many medium-sized cities in the US are getting an office tower, let alone two, let alone one an 844 footer ?

That depends on what you think a mid size city is.

The fact that Sandridge is also building two other buildings first is good news. If they were to cancel those buildings, and simply "add" onto their planned tower, we could see something in the 700+ range from them.

For purposes of this discussion, just about any city smaller than NYC.
