Stadion Maksimir catches me. Box shaped stadium is quite rare to find. I bored with round shape.

I'd like Poland/Ukraine to get it, simply to hear some of the dimwitted soccer pundits we have on UK TV attempt to pronounce Dnipropetrovsk, Wrocław, Lviv etc.

In Italy and Poland?! Don't read too much "Loaded" dear friend... where is football violence in Poland worse than this in Croatia?

Well... this game is an exception, but I've seen the last two games when Wisla played the "Stripes" and I have a different feeling (actually, maybe I met you at a tram stop in front of the South Stand next to the meadow, cause I've seen an Irish guy there . I mean it was unstable, sure, but when the police actually showed up (and they didn't do anything apart from standing) in the second half it was allright. If I tell you the situation is changing for the better in the last few years you propably won't believe it...

Still- let's keep in mind that in the UEFA Evaluation report after the Phase I, two bidders (Pol-Ukr and Cro-Hun) have reached high grades for safety and security measures planned for Euro, meanwhile Italy's proposition was described as poor (but in several sentences, not this one word ). And all 5 countries have their problems with supporters.

What kind of supporters? As far as I know, Croatia has a total support of Government and from other supporters

I've seen "a few" clips and photos from (for example) Hajduk-Dinamo and I don't recall anyone talking about support for the government there

i really think the bid is great concerning stadiums. they are all very well designed. All except one.......Székesfehérvár what is up with that thing. I have seen like 30 pictures of it it does not look good in one shot. Do you guys think if they win the bid that they will keep that ugly design or will the change it to somthing better?

Some very beautiful and very ugly stadiums in that list. This stadium in Rijeka is one of the best stadium proposals I have ever seen, so I really support the bid.

There are some ghastly stadiums though, some brutal designs would scare spectators away from watching a game!

I don't want to be evil to our hungarian neighbours, but I also like Croatian stadiums better. I can't say that hungarian stadiums are brutal, but they are a bit boring comparing with croatian ones.
All in all...everything looks great!

I can't wait for some moron to complain about the running tracks in Budapest...

Wonderful stadiums, my favorite bid.
