why ru argueing now and bringing up who has a higher gdp, poland and ukraine got euro and stop being poor sports. The commitee trusts in poland and ukraine to do it and i think they will. Both countries economies are growing at a huge rate, tourism rates are up (at least for poland not sure about ukraine) they have a huge population to support them and uefa really wanted to expand and grow football in the east. Poland and ukraine are huge nations that uefa looks to benefit from. Now they are gonna produce the best stadiums any euro cup has ever had and hopefully produce a great competition.

First of all.. I think that Poland, Ulkraine, Croatia and Hungary have all deserve to host the EURO but i don´t know.. to give the EURO to a joind bit to countrys who are both huge enough to host this event without the neighbour is just a bad joke. Joind Bits are a good choise for small countrys like Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria and so on but a poverty testimony - primarily for the UEFA and secondary for the applicants. Don´t understand me wrong.. it´s the same like the joind bit from Japan and South Korea.

It remains only to hope, that the East of Europe have not to wait to long to host the Europen championship after Poland and Ukraine.

Wow, the revised Poznan stadium looks great!

Surely Euro 2012 has gotta go down as the most dramatic change in stadiums ever in a country in 5 years? I mean Poland's stadiums now host what, 10-15000 at most? And going from that to 6 world class stadiums in 5 years is just amazing...

Here's hoping the beijing olympic vs Allianz version of Warsaw goes ahead

We all shouldn't get too enthusiastic about t, everyone says (from the officials) that this i still only an attempt.
As for Krakow- thank God even the designer says he isn't too positive about the hidous rubble framework over the pitch, so let's hope it's just a vision (obviously of a blind man :P)

Edit: 13 other Polish cities are now bidding to get something out of Euro. Lodz (1mln citizens) has biggest plans- they want to get in the final four at the ned of the day! THe city is developing very fast and next week they want to present a vision of the new municipal stadium with 50 000 seats! Previously plans for one stadium have been dropped after the antagonistic teams of Widzew and LKS have disagreed to have a joint stadium (mostly the fans of course, but also- the city presnted no compromise really)

Nice stadiums.

But this one will be a pain in the ass. The shadows are horrible.

Perhaps, but if you look at the trend of the stadiums, the designs are getting better and bigger since the announcement!! So no reason Warsaw should be any different

I was talking about Poznan there There already were rumors about retractable roof over a year ago in Poznan, we'll see what comes out of it, but it's still only talking- noone will laim responsability for it so far I think.

As for Warsaw- I can take bets that it won't look the way it was shown (neither the green version, nor the black web-alike one), but as we all know the plan is (and this is official) to increase capacity in Warsaw from 60 000 to 70 000. So I agree about the trend

an architectural competition for the Warsaw stadium is planned - so big chances for a good design!

Yeah I don’t know the difference between hungary and croatia and my country is the poorest in Europe also we don’t deserve to host EURO and oh yeah I forgot that everything revolves around hungary and croatia. I guess you guys are right I should never compare Ukraine to you people we don’t have nothing constructive to offer except plains, rockets, weapons, et. but that’s besides the point. Anyways next time when we win something we are going to ask for your permission so you would complain.
