Yes kolkatausa. Currently I am in Sydney. I am with 4-yrs working visa. Working with an Indian software company for an Australian client.

Unlike other Aussie cities, it is dense, crowded. Though Melbourne is bit similar in terms of population, size but different from infrastructure perspective. Some example - Sydney has BRTS, Melbourne has not. Melbourne has tram but Sydney doesn’t (I heard they removed). I feel Melbourne(whole Victoria state) has better roads than Sydney(whole NSW state). Though Sydney rocks.

No, not in winter. But during summer (oct->mar) it is always like that(at least the wkends). Here people are just crazy about this beach.

Tell the Aussies to look out for the UV rays.
One of the worst places to sunbath is Australia, because of the big hole on the O-Zone layer there.
Believe it or not some people sunbath everyday, even here in the states.
Looking at the beach picture, I can tell Australia gets really hot in the summer.
Sweet Pics though.

From my last Melbourne trip. A city circle tram. Tramway system of Melbourne is just similar to Kolkata. Well, at least they look same . I heard same British company set up both the system. Trams are very popular mode of public transport in Melbourne. And Melbourne probably has one of the best and most extensive tramway system in the world.

True. There is some public awareness campaign too. But they don't care actually.

Nice sepia shot there Saraf. The trams give Melbourne an old world charm.

Hi Mods,

I have a request. Can you please rename this thread as "SarafIndian's Photos"? I had a recent trip to Bhutan. So, I thought of sharing my photos here only instead of creating a new thread.

Regards,
Saraf

On the way to Paro from Phuntsholing. Phuntsholing is border town with Jaigaon, West Bengal. This nice highway is Phuntsholing – Paro, Chuzom – Thimpu highway. They are constructing it as a 4 lane.

Damview restaurant at Chukha. Chukha is just few kms from Jaigaon. Bhutan has its largest hydropower project at Chukha.

A local vegetable market on the way..

Chillies. Bhutanese people eat lots of chillies ..
