a classic beauty in steel.
I really felt different when I went up on this tower.
it was such an unforgetable experience.

Thats not really correct. The tower was concepted basically by the swiss architect Maurice Koechlin, but every farmer and frenchman say that it was Gustav Eiffel, silly....

You're partly right.

Indeed the Eiffel tower could/should have been named the "Koechlin tower" as he's the one who actually designed it(drew the plans etc) ,but Maurice Koechlin is actually half french half swiss.He was born in france(Alsace) and died in Veytaux,switzerland.

Maurice Koechlin,designer of the metallic structure of the Eiffel tower (1856-1946)

Our annual firework display does not take place like most of the other countries for the New Year's Eve, but on 14 Juillet which you guys call Bastille Day abroad. Enjoy the 32' minute show!
