nice, but another one that should be allowed to be a little taller for the area, but moreso it's the one across the road that is being stunted.

It's all a bit familiar with a 15-level wall continually stretching along, like the upper part of Goulburn St in Surry Hills (which I like BTW, but others may find mediocre as far as streetscapes go).

I agree Lancelot - the Bates Smart proposed opposite is just a big splodge - it should be well rendered but another one of those in Sydney that look more like a podium for a 60-level building.

Having said that, this one is my fave out of all the littlies proposed around town.

Is this student accommodation, or is it office space? It looks like an office building but I've been told by a friend at Bates Smart it is student accommodation (at least I think it is this building they were referring to).

Wow! That's some change. Not sure that it's as good a design even with change of function. Looks a bit like someone stuck huge post-its all over it.

It's an awful box and I'm sure it will age disgracefully, but man, I love to see a bit of colour every now and then!

I agree. Any colour except pink, light blue and white will do!

I love it and just because of it's colours! But it's still a waste of space because it's in Disneyland.

Surprised. Thought that COS won't improve anything without sandstone cladded lobby <kidding>. This colour scheme reminds me of that wavy building near Euro Tower.

Demolition appears to be complete from this angle:

The signs on the hoarding have a domain name (urbanset.com.au) that isn't even registered.

I think it should read http://urbanest.com.au. They are a student accommodation company. Their website says this project will be open by December 2010.

They've just completed a similarly structurally uninspiring building, jazzed up with a paint job, in Southbank, Brisbane.
