Wow. You've got a very nice metro. Congratulations.
I love the on-top bridge coverings and also the colors of the stations. |

As you see, I'm catching up with the developments of Sofia's metro...
![]() It was probably answered a thousand times by now, but why were the following sections finished separately? Different building technic? Huge difficulties during the constructions? Corruption? Greens? Other...?

The terrain turned out to be more difficult in the area, the tunnel is already done. And now some tests and finishing works on the university station left. The Japanese constructors Taisei actually delayed the whole section of the diameter about a year.

![]() Thank you very much for the answers! I was trying to ask, if the two metro lines are to be connected at the north, will the trains run continuously from for example Lozenets through Hemus, NDK, ..., Central Station (Tsentralna Gara), Nadezhda, Obelya and with or without changing signs (metro numbers) onwards using the existing MD1 line? Or you'll have to change at Obelya?

Anyway, You'll have an excellent subway system! It's strange though, you are not getting any information about the future MD2 stations. For example, here in Budapest, we also have a new metro line u/c at moment, but the renders were published long before the development itself started... Security reasons, maybe? |
