My vote goes to Macchu Picchu :p
![]() Istanbul has a nice location. The city is divided into 3: - The old city (European side) - Modern city with 2 main business districts (European side) - The asian side So the funny part is that it's not important on which side you are standing, you always see more or less the same beautiful view because all 3 the parts are heavily crowded. There are hardly any pictures that can support my thread. But i'll give a try. ![]() ![]() Europe seen from Asia ![]() Perfect mix between beautiful green living environment and a hardcore business center skyline. image hosted on flickr ![]() Night in Istanbul ![]() Inonu soccer stadium, with a view over Asian Istanbul. ![]() Roman fort in Europe ![]() Redbull air race ![]() Even I don't know from which side this photo is taken. ![]()

Hehe, when I saw this thread, I automatically thought "Istanbul". Great that I'm not the only one to think this. :P

Interesting that you pick Riomaggiore out of the Cinque Terre, have been there this summer, it is really a nice place.

btw, my homecity, Kuala Lumpur is one of the worst in term of geography setting. A village 'accidentally' becoming a city. Located in an ugly looking muddy river confluence. Set in the middle of a valley where humid and dust are trapped making the city look hazy most of the time. also received heavy downpour almost everyday during monsoon season. and most people don't know that the CBD stands on limestone bedrock...
