Nice pictures, but its making me sad watching them. Think what a great city they could've built instead of endless crap. It's disgusting.

your photos look identical to the outer suburbs of any Australian city. Identical except the cars are driving on the wrong side of the road

I know how you feel! I'm stuck in suburbia too. 50 minutes of traffic-free drive (which rarely happens) from DT LA. But it could be worse! Getting stuck in some small town without any major urban center nearby is a lot worse! One of my friends is stuck in a town like that, Ridgecrest, CA. They don't even have a downtown! And two-story buildings are extremely rare. I couldn't even find a CHASE bank because they don't have one!
But, hey! Outdoors can be fun too! (if the weather is right...)
