Haha, mauubusan nga sya ng hininga sa tagal. I wonder if this will overtake the Lopez Tower.

Any news regarding this project? It seems that there is a rival for this tower.

well, this project sounds like it's an office-type building, so this might actually be taller than Stratford.

over 384 meters
with just 75 floors.

I have heard that they can't build a high rise building beside the ADB building because its like a diplomatic building or something...
Does that make any sense?

It's the only one that matches "1.3-hectare vacant lot along ADB Avenue in Ortigas".

I've heard about that too! Specifically from the sellers of Malayan Tower.

They said that the view towards Robinsons will remain unblocked because of some deal with ADB and the Ortigas family or something like that, so if we buy a unit facing that area, our view will be unblocked. They implied that buildings like the Volvo dealership are the only ones that can be built there.

This was before J-Tower even began construction or was announced in this forum (as Q Tower), and we all know what happened after. So I think you should take that comment about not building high rises beside ADB with much skepticism, since clearly this is not the case.

As for One Galleon, I dunno if the lot beside ADB would be best for it since it will be directly beside BSA Twin and a future high rise to be built on top of Podium (whatever happened to that, btw?) But what about that huge series of parking lots between J Tower and Cityland Megaplaza? That would be more logical, imo, and as long as there is enough spacing between the two existing high rise, it should be fine.

Thanks for clearing that up.
I've heard about the high rise on top of the podium mall too.

There would be allot of sad people looking for parking area if that is indeed the construction site for the One Galleon Place.

If I remember previous discussions correctly, that space is less than 1 hectare.

Here it is! Presenting...
One Galleon Place

Sorry, I just took a picture of today's copy of Manila Standard Today.

From the newspaper:

"The 300-meter-tall building, which will house offices and a five-star hotel, will overshadow the 52-story PBCom Tower in Makati, a 55-story condominium being built by Anchor Land Holdings, Inc. in Binondo, Manila, and the 66-story Federal Land Tower rising up in Taguig City."

It will be built in front of ADB, according to the article.
