'Iconic' only goes part of the way to describe this building. I'm fortunate to have been given a tour and have been to the top. Interestingly the tower is not actually fixed to the ground - it sits on a bed of oil. True!

This tower really is bad looking,but I can tell you that the view from the restaurant area at its top is GOBSMACKING...I used to work extra there, it's really worth it.The view is much more stunning than from The "Eye of London".If you have the opportunity to visit it,don't take into account its interior (very cold,gloomy...)and make the most of its view,I'm sure you'll like it... PS:all the main landmarks are shown on a big map (in the restaurant.),you can even see your house/flat
