Rochester's looking handsome, and this certainly shows how liveable of a city it can be.

I'm a kind of person feeling like living back in the 1950s, one who favors and enjoys the Golden-age, rust-belt cities of Buffalo, Pittsburgh, and Detroit, and the Gothic skylines of New York and Philadelphia. In my eye, they have more character, soul, and history to be pictured than today's world-class, cosmopolitan, and sprawling cities.

I don't think you'll ever see any finer pictures of Rochester than what you are seeing in this photo thread.

Thanks guys. Rochester is becoming my favorite city in upstate N.Y from a variety of perspectives. It also seems many people are recently selecting and moving to Rochester in comparison to the other upstate N.Y cities such as Buffalo, Albany, Syracuse, Binghamton. On CityData for instance, I've seen many threads of people from the United States and Europe relocating to Rochester. Rochester almost landed a Major League Soccer team or was on the waiting list not so long ago too.

i'm leaning towards moving to rochester after doing a little research between here and albany.
