Naz,nama 'THE INTERMARK' tu maksud seluruh project tu la,bukan saje Empire Tower tu je,diaorg letak huruf besar tu utk tunjukkan kpd semue org that the whole project/development is now called the intermark,no more Empire Tower or Crown Princess........

Kadang2 dia org tak slalu ikut carbon copy of their project rendering la bro,take the example of the Menara PJX Project kat PJ,there might be some minor changes along the way,mcm ekonomi atau bajet,or last minute design changes,tapi dlm situasi ni,rasenye huruf 'THE INTERMARK' tu mmg permanent la,buat bazir masa and duit kalau nak remove huruf2 tu lagi....

huruf2 tu diperbuat drp apa Vic?diclad ke atau tampal?aku rasa tak permanent la word tu..cuba tengok rendering nazrey kat atas tu..cuba letak word tu sama dgn yg ada sekarang..tak kan diaorg nak crowdedkan building tu dgn byk words?rasanya tak logic la..kena pulak company ausie..kalau company dari burma ke bangla ke mungkin la.mungkin cuma nak bagi tau yg crown princess dah jadi the intermark je kot..siap project mungkin diturunkan word tu kot.

I doubt that the "Intermark" wordings are a temporary fixture... From the distance, the letters are lighted up quite prominently and why would a temporary item be so brightly lit?

Looks like that is gonna be the "defining" feature of the whole development, due to the height of the signage!

Yup yup, that is so true... The PJX does not look ANYTHING like the rendering... The crown is missing and also, the building is not entirely glass-cladded and only at the windows (walls are plain-old concrete without cladding)... Scaffolding seems to have stopped coming down though, is the project on hold?

And back to the Intermark, I notice that the cladding work on the DoubleTree Hotel is progressing quite smoothly... I assume they are almost finished with the interior works as well.. The hotel should be open by end-2010 ya?

Rasenye clad la bro,kalau font tu smua tampal dgn Vista Tower dah x leh pasang lampu kt background lagi,kalau font tu tampal/temporary,diaorg mesti guna spotlight je utk nyalakan kat waktu malam,lagipun mesti x clear,kalau lampu background font cladding mesti clear,yg ni masih considered ok la for a aussie firm,tapi jgn surprise that even the upcoming Integra Tower will have different font/signage styling,we never know...

when the font is under shade, the font is seen darker. the silverish sign you saw is under a direct sunlight.

Hmmm James,i see,so generally there are there additional layers made in the fonts surface??,cause in general light steel/aluminium doesnt really look that dark or changes its color to a darker tone when its under a shade or no sunlight though...

aluminium color tone does change from different angle you see. just take petronas tower for example. sometimes it look dull under cloudy shade but reddish in early morning sun.
