Are you sure that's Geiranger because it don't like that way to me. The nature around Geiranger mainly consist of these massive mountain walls that goes straight into the fjord:image hosted on flickr ![]() http://www.flickr.com/photos/3733499...n/photostream/ However tourists have a tendency to label everything in Norway with fjord in it as "Geiranger" or other similarly familiar fjord locations in the country regardless of the actual location.

Those panos of the fjords are stunning and heartbreaking. Heartbreaking in that I know that I'll never be able to develop the fitness to actually climb any of those peaks and see those views for myself.
