pretty high floors, indeed.

and finally Dubai discovers a little minimalism in buildings, some of their hi-rises are way too much flamboyant, if you know what I mean.

Once in awhile, it is nice to see a "normal" design in Dubai. I think it will work nice. I kinda like the heli-pad at the top.

DUBAI | 1 PARK AVENUE| 350m | 1148ft | 90 fl |Proposed‎

This tower was proposed a year ago, but now we have new rendering of DIFC with this tower in it, I assume this one is approved. We also have confirmed news that DIFC is restarting construction this month.

Pics coming soon.

Did anyone else click this thinking "another supertall condo in NYC" or was that just me?

There's a (planed) Park, there's an Avenue running alongside or into it, and there's the 1st building on it .... Since when does NYC copyrighted all those?

Does anyone else think that this is the first non-Dubai style building located in Dubai ?

They haven't. But i think it has to do with the fact that they're not that creative when it comes to naming their buildings...

That's why I mentioned it.

Hey, these actually look like normal buildings this time! I think if all this was built, it would improve the Dubai skyline so much more. It really needs filler, since many of the tall buildings are in a line. They would also remove all those eyesore empty sandy sites.

Not to mention they look nice on their own.

There is as much creativity involved here, as in the case of NYC .... it's the same f-ing thing

Wonderful! Though you nearly gave me a heart attack as I thought for a split second you were referring to the One Park Avenue from the JGC.

The Satwa part of JGC can still be built to the style of the original Adrian Smith masterplan, including 1 Park Avenue and Meraas Tower, as the land there is still empty or are low income slums.

The Wasl part (One Dubai triplet) unfortunately will not be materialised as the location is now occupied by City Walk
