Looks great, but did they change the design? I liked the old renderings better.

Old renderings? this is a totally new project and design presented just last night, maybe you're talking about Estadio Internacional Monterrey, the one in this thread is called Estadio de Futbol Monterrey, not Internacional Monterrey, they are two different projects, although until yesterday, Internacional Stadium was still considering Monterrey to join the project. But as you can see here, that didn't happend.By the way, according to Estadio Internacional's webpage, the project is still in progress...But now without the Monterrey Soccer Team, the other professional soccer team in the city are Tigres, and it seems that Estadio Internacional is still talking with them. www.estadiointernacionalmonterrey.com Before, there were Tigres (Yellow), Mexico (Green), and Monterrey's Rayados (Blue) colors shown in their site... ![]() Today... Only Yellow (Tigres), Green (Mexico's), and White (For Special Events)

Oh wow, so they could both (potentially) be in the city? GREAT! Monterrey already has a diverse set of sports arenas and stadiums, this just makes it better.

Hi There!
Not at this time, the only info available is about antoher new Stadium for the Cruz Azul soccer team, from Mexico City. In our case, I'm very happy for the new Stadium for the RAYADOS DEL MONTERRY, my heart's team. |

this is going to be the real Mexico's best, because of the description, it could be to the level of top (mid sized) european stadiums, maybe in the range of capacity and comfort of Hamburg, Porto, Amsteram, Frankfurt.

Awesome! You're lucky to have great looking stadium like that. I'll look forward to Toronto FC coming down there for a Champion's League match. Of course by the time that happens the stadium will be a lot older.
