I really like one park avenue, but I have my doubts of actual construction.

WOW....Cityscape must be a very cool event to attend. So does this mean the tower may be revived soon?

I really like the design of this tower. Very attractive! Hopefully it will start again soon.

No particular reason to pick on this specific project, but I was just reading through this thread and remembered being shouted down in various Dubai threads when I questioned the madness of mass speculative building of property, bought by speculative investors simply with a view to selling later on at a profit to yet more speculative investors. How people scoffed when I suggested this was the classic definition of a bubble!

Pop!

Ok this is weird. I talked to an investor (friend of my parents) a couple of weeks ago. He's very sucessful and rich. I asked him if he ever thought of Dubai. The first thing he said was: it's a bubble of air.

It's not that weird, around 90% of the people i speak to with any common sense call Dubai a bubble. Especially now the bubble has essentially burst. They really need to concentrate on stabilising themselves immediately, there is no money, no business and no people to fill all the proposed towers.

The price bubble has burst like in Shanghai 2006. Most of the towers are still rising, Dubais airport and airline has one of highest growth rates in the world. Dubai will change like Hong Kong or Singapore did many times to be more competitive.

Wow...I get chill down my spine when I see projects like this. Dubai looks a lot better during the night.
