Skyscraper Paper Models - Website Links

Thought it best to delete this thread so someone else can have a decent crack at it, Dequal has a great website that might be worth using for inspiration.

I am relinquishing this thread to WiGgLz01 (or whoever) in order for someone with more energy/time to get it up to date. It has become rather out of date given the rapid release of so many great models since my last additions to it and I'm unlikely to find the time to update it anytime soon.

I'll pop in from time to time to SSC but it's time to move on. I'll tinker with my own website and release new models in the future on there but skyscrapers might be a while coming out given my track record!

Good luck.

Hoddy1991,

I tried your website and although you've got some great models in the pictures, I couldn't find any files to download and print out. Some of them have an imageshack.us link but there's no images when I follow the link.

You've given us the Burj Dubai link before in the BD thread so I included that one in the list. If you send me links to the downloadable skyscrapers you've built then I'll add them to the list. Nice website by the way.

Regards

Robin

I was wondering that too. Great site and models, but no download links?

Many thanks Hoddy, well spotted. Nightfly drawings are stunning for their textures and detail.

I'll add them to the links at the top of the thread.

Many thanks again

Robin

More models discovered while surfing the net. I've added them to the list at the top of this thread.

http://pc-maker.net/pb/index.html
Japanese website with the following 3 models. I particularly like the Yokohama tower. Pity they are 1:2000 and 1:3000 scale and not 1:1700

Yokohama Landmark Tower

Fukuoka Tower

World Trade Center

You can get the turning torso (Malmo, Sweden) from here.
The downloads are under the heading Läs/Se mer.

And finally, here's a little skyscraper diorama from Japan at the following website

And two more Japanese skyscrapers, this time from the Japan Real Estate Investment Corporation

I'll add these to the list.

Hey thanks for the new links!

The 2 from Japan are neat, I like the street detail.
Here's a tip for saving them -
They will down load better if you open the PDF file (Green Box)
in your browser and "save as" instead of right clicking and "saving target as"
It took me awhile to figure out why the PDFs would not open on my computer,
Hope this tip saves someone else the trouble I had saving the files.

Although they are not skyscrapers these paper models are too cool not
to share, They are models of Disney's Haunted Mansions
http://www.haunteddimensions.raykeim.com/index301.html
If your interested in other paper buildings check them out.

Gonzales

Unfortunately, you can't download any of the models from hoddy's website. They look great from the photos but maybe he hasn't got them into an electronic format yet.

I know the feeling about not being available, I've nearly finished a model which would be quicker in the short term to show by hand building first, but I'm working on it electronically in MS paint (and Paint.net) which is taking longer but at least i can edit it easily. will save time in the long run and it will be downloadable right from the start.

Paper Building models

I stumbled across this site and found a model of the Fernehturm Television Tower in Berlin and some other German buildings.
