I know languages can be funny sometimes since different words in a language mean different things in other languages.
Fars is one of the main provinces of Iran and is the birth place of Persia (Iran), that's why all Iranians speak Farsi (Persian).

The Tehran metro looks great, I'd love to travel around Iran.

Alitezar, is it easy for non-muslims to visit? Specifically, gay non-muslims?

I wouldn't do that anyway!

I'd love to visit Iran, the old mosques (like the one in Esfahan (is that the correct spelling?) look amazing. I love Islamic religious architecture.

And Iranians all look like supermodels!

Hi,

I had already post this but this is also a pic of how people dress in public in Iran.
Yes, both muslims and non muslims and people from different countries have to observe the dress code. Guys can't wear shorts and girls should minimum have an overcoat and a scarf but it can be stylish in some ways. Also you can visit my Tehran thread pictures and it has pictures of so many girls and how they dress in tehran.

It can be very fun and plus Iranians are very hospitable and friendly people too

Below is the link to my tehran thread, but I think you've already seen it

Very impressed by the metro network of Tehran , after doing a bit of Wiki research I see that once all expansion of line 1 and other lines such as 4 and 5 are ready the total length of the Tehran Metro is close to 147 Km and spreading into some suburbs , which is again very impressive for a city. Although some of the trains look a bit dated but that's more than made up for by the comfy interiors and splendid architecture of the stations.

Good Going , Iran.

Thanks alitezar. The dress code may be a problem for my girlfriend, but those pics help to see how things really work.

Good to see Iran using some of their oil revenues, to build some infrastructure for the future. Only if all their money was spent on such positive things.
