As for clothes itís the same thing as well as other appliances but subway is so cheap which is such a treat for foreign visitors to Tehran too:

Below are ticket prices of Tehran Metro converted to $US:

One way ticket: 12 cents
Two- Trip tickets: 23 cents
10- Trips ticket: $1 US
Daily Pass: 40 cents
3 Day Pass: 80 cents
Weekly pass: $1.50 US
Monthly Pass: $4.50 US
Seasonal Pass: $11 US
Half Year Pass: $18 US
Annual Pass: $28 US

Arenít you guys jealous

Even Tehranis canít believe how cheap it is. The subway service and conditions are very good and yet so cheap. It should be recorded in the Guinness Book of Records as one of the best subways and yet so cheap
Omg and people thought that Mexico City's Metro was the most cheapest in the world with $0,20 cents , that's cool! Teheran won it! lol

i live in Spain(but im from Chile) , and the price in the cities with Metro such as (Madrid,Barcelona,Bilbao,Valencia,Mallorca and now Sevilla) is Ä1 for one trip.

Btw how is it possible to maintain such a system with such low ticket prices?

in Santiago de Chile subway that's the only thing we need (Air Condition) coz Summer is very hot and dry, but I think we haven't got that coz Warm is only 3 months per year, is like waste money.

Teheran Metro Sign is such originally, i never seen something like that, is coo,, is too 'byologic' lol

Yes, the double Decker trains are the suburban railway of Tehran, and it is not a subway. I think it will be better to consider this line as a separate line in spite of saying line 5. Line 5 is not a metro line.

What are the present staus of Ahwaz metro, Mashhad metro, Esfahan metro & Tabriz metro?

Yes, Tehran line 5 of Metro is a double decker train. It connects Tehranh to it's biggest suburb, the city of Karaj:
