From what i understand, it might take even longer. 432 Park should top out next summer, this tower might not top out till 2015 because the last floors will take quite some time to complete.

I agree with you Ghost, the shape of this building is awfully complicated, so it'll take quite long to build it. I expect it to top out at least a half year after 432 Park, probably even later

As long as they build it it doesn't matter how long they need . But it's good to know it won't rise as slow as Dubai Pearl

According to your pic I estimate the height of this tower to be currently 17 meters or 56 feet

Kanto, why are you still coming back to this threat and trying to stir up your shit once again. If you hate it, don't keep coming up to this thread then. Once again more stupid posts from Kanto as awalys

Back to topic:
As for completion date, they already announce a while ago that this will take long time to complete compare to other projects with same height. Because of complex design, it will take longer.

What really, really impressed me was how small the site is. This is an extremely thin tower. It seems to even be thinner in relation to its height than 432 Park Avenue. I wonder who even dreamed up building such a tall structure on such a small lot?

Anyone have the exact width dimmensions of this compared to 432?

Well, according to my estimates that means the building should be now approximately 20 meters or 66 feet tall

New York has a lot of weird projects, which is not always good, but this building is one of the good innovative ones that kind of make up for the bad ones like tower verre imo

What are you talking about? Verre is one of the nicest projects ever proposed for the city.

that's why i said in my opinion. one of my favorite projects for the city was 15 penn plaza for example, but some people really hated it for the exact same reason i loved it, the closeness to the ESB in both location and size.
