Is that going to be an Anish Kapoor sculpture at the base of the building? It looks a lot like the "bean" in Chicago's Millenium Park.

Area around the future tower is very run down and much more can and should be built there. there are literally about 4-5 buildings that can be demolished without any loss to NYC architecture.

I much rather see that HR Administration Building across Leanard St at 250 Curch St be replaced with a modern tower.
