A style can't be hideus. It can only be not your taste

Well, this style is further from my taste than how far Earth is from the Andromeda Galaxy

Well hideousness is subjective by definition, so I don't think he needs to state that it's his opinion or to his taste.

I'm not exactly sure what to make of the style myself. It's certainly strange, and very different from just about anything built in America. But I think HdM have synthesized the most interesting aspects of it with Modernism and the end result here is breathtaking.

Are you saying it's subjective when I say that stick on top of 1WTC in the pic above your post is hideous? It's an objective fact.

Yup! That's exactly what I'm saying. I (and many others) prefer it to the original design.

And yes, I realize you're using "objective fact" as a kind of hyperbole. I'm just trying to be clear, since this is an international forum, and non-native English speakers have a tendency to get confused.

I like the Jenga Top of this Tower. Its a nice change of pace for the city. I wouldn't want EVERY building to have a top like it but ... this one is a good one.

56 Leonard is a more complicated building to erect because of the different sized and placed floor plates and so should take longer to complete.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but Maha Nakhon's floorplates are all different, all the way up. 56 Leonard, by contrast, has essentially one consistent floor plate shape all the way through the middle two-thirds (made even more simple because the irregular balconies are being added on after the fact). It should fly by in comparison.

I like the idea of attaching balconies later. That simplifies things a lot.
They could also use a generic support plate for the floors and use removable barriers to cut off sections where there should be no concrete.
The core will be the same all the way to the top.

56 leonard floors are individually shaped only at the small part of the base and at the top. Maha nakhon has irregular floors pretty much all the way to the top so it's clearly more complicated. Plus, obviously, it is a taller building so it will take longer to build it.
