Those white squares squares just look so bad.

This tower is all right, its a twist, if every tower in New York looked like this I would throw up, but one unconventional skyscraper creates an abstract skyline, which is what I believe Manhattan is going for.

Those frames on the windows. They totally ruin the flow of the building.
I was referring to a picture on the previous page.

Yes, they keep mess up the building.

After they put that ugly antenna on top (and scrap the spire) they realized that it does not look that bad at night, so they just had to do something with the light scheme to ruin the tower.

I think he was talking about the squares on the Windows of 56 Leonard. I actually like the "squares" on one world.

I don't think the white square really add or detract from the tower's appearance that much really. There are so many of them with a fair amount of regularity so they just kind of blend into the visual jumble, along with the balconies.

Plus, as has been said already, the top will make or break this tower, and that has yet to materialize. So far it's looking alright, I think. Patience!

Gorgeous. According to one of the contractors some netting would be down about mid August. Full reveal late November. He said it will be worth the wait.

Looks fantastic. Truly a feast for the eyes, unlike all the other glass boxes that go up around the city.

Honestly,i don t know what to think about this building.
Sometime it beautiful and sometime it s ugly.
I just can t judge it correctly.
Maybe it will be more beautiful in real life than the renders.

Insider tip: They're scheduled to pour the 55th Floor on Thursday (06.18), then start building the penthouse with it's 22.5ft ceilings. The Penthouse is expected to take about 3 weeks ('it's very detailed'). After that, last will be the 'glass enclosed water tower/ring beam' which will take the building to it's final height of 821ft.
