I am not impressed Greater Noida Circuit. We could have big land to build better circuit. Bhuddh Circuit is small. Lack of big Space .. 1600 Acres land size.

You guy's check 19 various Circuit's (2011 Calender year). Bhuddh is small circuit in the world (NON-STREET). It is flat.

This the first circuit... so have patience man, we will sure come up with bigger ones.. also, its better to build small scale projects and analyze how everything goes than to create a mega project which would even fail to bring in any money.. so dont worry... INDIANISM sure is LATE but not WRONG

BIC is in the sports city complex owned by Jaypee....
The area is HUGE.....
It was Hermann Tilke's design. I dont think he made the design with much of a space restriction.
And anyways from where the h**l have you learnt that longer(in terms of Kms) circuit are better???
Each and every drivers have been overjoyed by its design.
It has high speed straights with change of elevation, slow corners, high speed chicanes, turkish gp like turn 11-12-13, a 16 turn circuit with avg speed 210kmph.. wtf do you want more???
And if you want more, first i guess you have more knowledge about circuit designs than F1 drivers and second go and complain to Tilke man, Jaypee had nothing to do with the design, they just implemented the design perfectly. Infact it was Jaypee who sent the circuit design simulators to various F1 teams at the very start of the season to get feedback from them so that any further changes are needed to increase overtaking opportunities.

Every team has first driver and second driver (usually based on the previous seasons standings). Now what you need to do is to look at the small wing like thing (its T-shaped if you look at the car head-on) at the topmost part of the car above and behind the drivers head (above the airbox in technical terms). That is the FIA camera mount. Look for the colour on that mount other than the black mount itself. The colour will be red for the first driver of the team. (As shown here in the link for Sebastien Vettel's RB7)

While the same mount has a fluorescent yellow colour for the second driver of the team. (As shown in the link for Mark Webber's RB7)

You see that the colours differ significantly. They do this so that anyone can easily differciate the car (for instance the FIA Observer sitting the Safety Car when its deployed). So if you know who the first and seccond drivers are you can easily tell the cars apart.

Thanks, but i think it is difficult to see that from far as it is very small in size compared to car size. You need airtel HD That T shape is to protect driver's head in case car overturns..

However those grass mat were just laid and have not set properly, very loose and fly off when a car goes off track. By next year grass thing should be better. No doubt circuit is good and race was success. I was afraid something wrong would happen and red flag or safety car may come

In my point of view I differ of your point, first, i impressed, for a lot of reasons, one of this, is the circuit result more faster than the experts pointed, the faster lap was expected in 1:27:000, and the qualy the time was of 1:24:178, 3 seconds more faster than the expected.

Another reason is this is the second faster circuit in the season, with a length of 5.141 km, this circuit is very fast, but this circuit is not the smaller, the circuit of Interlagos has a lenght 4.309km making this the most smaller in the calendary, also the circuit of Nurburing, has the same lenght that the Budd Intl Circuit, only a few meters more 5.148 km, seven meters more than the Budd and the lap record in the Nurburing is of 1:29:468, and also the Nurburing is an historic circuit. Interlagos is not only a circuit with 4.3 km, we can see the Gilles Villenueve, the Hungaroring and this two circuits have a lot of time in the F1.

Now to built a circuit with a lenght of 5.5 or more kms, in this age is imposible, the last year when Bahrain agree one sector to the circuit, making of 6 kms, the circuit become very boring, because was very slow, there is only two circuits with 5.5 or more kms, Monza and Spa, the two circuits are mantain in the calendar, because are the two faster and most historics circuits in F1.

In America (continent not country) the most part of fans and journalism have a good impression with the circuit, in my opinion is a good circuit one of the better jobs of Tilke, obviously, they complain about the infraestructure, but they expect in a year that all the problems of infraestructure will be solve for the next year.

I was actually thinking how would the marshalls handle a safety car or worse a red flag period. But I guess as we saw during quali they handled it pretty well. Nice thought on the part of the race organisers to rope in marshals from abu dhabi atleast for this year to supervise the indian marshals as its their first day on the job.
