Did you take anymore pics of this area? Is this the Bercy area?

You can correct your second-to-last image link by going into Edit.

No, Bercy is sitting on the opposite bank of the Seine.

This area is called Paris Rive Gauche (Left Bank)

Amazing how Paris keeps on being a reference model for superve architecture across the time.
Not only was taken as cultural and architectural model by a numer of cities around the world for its ¨haussmanian¨ charm... but also sets itself as a contemporary architecture meca.

Cheers for the city I allways dream of visiting.

What is that long vent-like green structure in the second and third pictures?

I wonder how much it costs to buy or rent in one of these gentrified neighborhoods of Southeast Paris. How does it compare to the more central, yuppie neighborhoods (Marais, Beaubourg, Les Halles, Montorgueil, Quartier Latin) or richer, western arrondissements? I ask because on one hand those central neighborhoods are more centric (which is always a desirable factor), charming and established BUT on the other hand the new Bercy and Bibliothèque F.M. neighborhoods can give you much newer and exciting housing and architecture. Does it balance out or are these "new" places less or more expensive than more central?

It's the brand new Cité de la Mode et du Design (Fashion and Design City) by Jakob and Macfarlane

I personnaly find it nice and funny, but I would understand some who don't
