I love Crossharbour's evening camouflage technology.
![]() I have mixed feelings about this tower too. When I first saw it I didn't really like it but I've warmed to it considerably. As others have said, the success of this depends on the quality of materials, I think. |

For some reason, not altogether clear, the applicants withdrew this application a month or so back.

This has now been re-submitted with minor tweaks. The number of resi units has decreased & instead of serviced apartments there will now be a 56 room hotel. Height etc remains the same.

Sorry, nothing new, but the new application is up, I thought I'd post a few of the images that include the other planned developments. They give a good sense of how things will look in a decade or so.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A few details on the coloured panels, they're retractable screens on the balconies.

Random cladding just got even more randomer! This looks like quite a fun tower to live in.

it's a pity I liked the proposal it was dynamic compared to other buildings around there, but I think the colored outer skin was unnecessary. What are the reasons for refusal?

I despair, it's because of cunts like these councillors, that London will be left standing, while La Defense becomes the best business district in Europe.
I mean what the fuck is all that crap about a village, it's surrounded by towers, I think this is one village that has got too many idiots.

I'm sure there's some very valid reason why it couldn't have been done, but back in the dim and distant past of the LDDC etc when this was first made an 'enterprise zone', couldn't planning decisions for the zone have been wrenched somehow from the grubby hands of the idiots on T.H. Council and given to someone with half an ounce of sense?
