Kelambakkam-Central almost runs to length of two important arterial road of the metropolitan.

Hope they add 25 more buses on that route in coming years.

S23 is actually Cheran Nagar - Ondipudhur via Singanallur. Reason: Initially all "S" services were planned in such a way that they touch Singanallur.

We also have "K" series buses running in Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore dist. City buses starting from Kinathukadavu has this. Ex: K2 runs in Kinathukadavu-Velanthavalam.. Its an Interstate city bus route.

Similarly we have buses with starting letter as "P" in Palladam areas. I guess we also have "A" for Annur area buses.

We also have Route numbers starting with "C" --> Circle services in Madurai, Trichy etc., Earlier we had "A" and "B" buses in madurai. Now they are no more. We have "V" services in Trichy, Ex: V1.

We have city buses running in Tanjore which has route numbers starting with "D", "A", "B" for "74" route number. Ex: D74/B74 running in Old BS to New BS in Tanjore. A21 is also there.

ANI 2088 mtc bus, good looking, shiny glasses and steel interiors when newly introduced tat time... Now it runs with 147B route, with coated.green color livery and interior steel have been painted with creamy yellow color.

I really miss the livery of "Thanga Ther"(golden chariot) buses. At least any one bus is running with that livery now?

Spotted the new bus 01N 9939 running in 21J Velachery-Guduvanchery.
It was having fleet no J0067, J came in Jayas regime by chance
And in teh front windshield bottom, the Writing has changed ... earlier it was MANAGARA PERUNTHU- CHENNAI and now it is CHENNAI-MANAGARA PERUNTHU may be amma reversing everything Thatha had done ...

Today i Spotted the 2 New Bus Routes Near Taramani Signal
1.Route No L21(CDJ 0050) Broadway to Velachery (via) Taramani, SRP, Jayanthi, Adyar then old 21L Route.
2.Route No M52P(CRI 2955) Thiruvanmiyur to Pozhichaluar (Via) Taramani , Velachery, Keelkattalai, Pallavaram

No thanag ther now I guess...the last one I spotted was on KN depot operating 51L CMBT-TBM EAST.... now its also changed to green colour

Why cant MTC ply some buses between Guduvancheri - Ramachandra Medical College via Vandalur, Tambaram, Pallavaram, Kathipara, DLF. Lot of people will be benefitted

If I remember correctly, M52P is extension of Pozhichalur - Velachery to Tiruvanmiyur. Earlier it was a normal bus but became an express with extension. Irukkura orae bussula yennappa expressu, deluxennu koothu panranga?
