yea, it appears to be ugly in design and im telling you it won't turn out nicely either; the facade will be the cheesy "stone" that's prefabricated it's not great.

He's right though, prefabricated facades never turn out well. What was on the site before construction/demolition began?

Don't really like the project. Although the base looks OK.

I'm just gonna say that I actually like the crown. New York City is famous for its buildings roofs, since that's all you can really see unless you're actually in the city. Tall, not too tall, this is a great building. This will be a good addition to the skyline, nay, a great addition to the skyline.

This building has a crappy resemblance with the Art Deco ones.Only the base seems to be not that bad.

I agree fully. Regarding the "cheesy" stone, there's a building going up in Chicago that's using it. Although I see no reason as to why developers can't use real stone since the price of nearly all commodities has fallen substantially, we'll see how the Chicago building turns out. I think there's a thread somewhere in the Skyscrapers section.

I don't see whats wrong with this building. It wont be long before they start building big buildings around. Its already close to the biggest building in the city ESB.

Oh wow, doesn't look like "cheesy stone" to me...

Thanks for the update krull. The stone looks pretty solid, I'm loving the base. I'll admit I'm worried on how the rest of the building will look like but so far it's not bad.

I am not crazy about this building, but it will have nice amenities - Ice Cave will certainly attract a lot of visitors
