€1.129/l for Euro 95 today! I'll have to fill up on Sunday, down seven cents from last time. Diesel is at €1.099/l.

Yesterday at Statoil and Orlen in Vilnius:
- Unleaded 95: 3,99 LTL (1,16 EUR)
- LPG: 2,29 LTL (0,66 EUR)
- Diesel: sorry, I forgot to check

I am really amazed how cheap it is getting in neighboring Poland!

Benefiting from low oil prices, the Malaysian gov has eliminated fuel subsidies on 1st Dec 2014. Unlike in Europe, the Malaysian government sets the same price for all competing companies and adjusts the price monthly. However the fuel price drops so fast, the Malaysians go from having subsidized fuel to paying indirect fuel tax in a month.

Price of RON95 before 1 dec: MYR 2.30/liter or EUR 0.54/liter
Price of RON95 after 1 dec, until current: MYR 2.26/liter or EUR 0.53/liter

RON97 before 1 dec: MYR 2.55/l or EUR 0.60/l
RON97 after 1 dec: MYR 2.46/l or EUR EUR 0.58/l

Diesel before 1 dec: MYR 2.20/l or EUR 0.52/l
after 1 dec: MYR 2.23/l or EUR 0.52/l

Good decision. I don't understand why Malaysia needed a fuel subsidy for so long. Its per capita GDP is $ 24,500 which is higher than many countries which do not subsidize fuel.

Montreal Canada, fuel price UP↑

From low of ca. $1.089 CAD/L at beginning of week to ▲$1.139 CAD/L

Should go down at least 5 cents this week.

I know, my grandfather moved to Alberta and always tells us "why you are stuck there, everything better here" He was complaining of price of natural gas a while ago, I said, well, just stick a pipe into the ground and connect it to furnace, you're in Alberta gas is everywhere

The cheapest I ever paid for gasoline in my life so far was $0.74, in Canada (I'm sure in the US I've paid in the 2.xx's)

Just paid $2.399/gallon for 87 unleaded in Connecticut. $15 for 6.25 gallons. My fuel cost is under $0.07/mile now, it was over $0.10/mile for such a long time, but now I feel such freedom! Lol

About $0.20 per mile for me with the prices here, with the most economical cars on the market (excluding electric vehicles/hybrids) you can get it down to $0.12 or $0.13 per mile but not any less I think.

My car consumes approximately 1 liter every 19 kilometers (12 miles). At € 1.55 per liter, that would be € 0.08 per kilometer or $ 0.16 per mile.

The lowest price I ever paid for gas was in 1975 when I was stationed at Subic Bay in the Philippines. On base Regular gas was .36 cents a gallon.
