I fueled up yesterday evening here near Milan.
EuroSuper95 was 1,17 €/l, the lowest price since a couple of years.

Well, oil is now one third the price it was in July. But gas prices have pretty much halved.

If gas prices fell as fast as oil has, the national average would be $1.37 (€0.289/liter).

If it would drop by a factor three, gas would be €0,55/L over here. €1,25 is quite far from that

That's ethanol you're thinking of. It's a mix of ethanol and petrol containing 85 percent ethanol (slightly more in winter to avoid freezes) and it's sold as E85.

Market price of crude oil plummeted to 49,71 USD/barrel from 146,14 USD in the beginning of July. That's 66% decline and ~12% each month

Fuel is cheap compared to the past two years now. I only fill up with 98 or V-power now to make up for the low prices.

I've never tried V-power. I doubt if it makes much difference. I get 17 kmpl in cities and 20 kmpl outside cities, fair enough for me Especially when the Liter counter goes faster than the Euro counter

My mom tried V-power for a while. It made some difference, but not that much that it made a real difference in price, so she eventually changed back.

Today's litre prices in Sweden, brought to you by JET:

95: 10,14 SEK (€0,974)
96: 10,30 SEK (€0,989)
98: 10,44 SEK (€1,003)
E85: 9,34 SEK (€0,897)
Diesel: 11,29 SEK (€1,085)

This price is for unmanned stations. Manned stations are generally 0,25 SEK (€0,024) more expensive.

The Netherlands (east) Euro95: 1, 15 €/L

Six months ago it was like 1, 69 €/L. The financial crisis makes the fuel prices cheaper. I hope the pirates at Somalia doesn't hijack more fueltankers.

According to this link:

http://www.wyominggasprices.com/

There is a gas station in Wyoming that is selling gas for $1.12!

That is about €0.23/liter!
