Dutch gas prices are now the lowest since April 2008, at € 1,541 a liter. That's $ 7.94 per gallon with current exchange rates.

Yeah, petrol prices are at their lowest everywhere. Now, people need to keep their jobs to enjoy these low prices... which can be hard considering the very reason why the prices became low in the first place Economical recession.

With that price he surely meant Euro 95. In my area it's a bit more expensive though.

BTW, the cheapest stations in Spain are in the Canary Islands. 0.79 €/l for Euro 95 and 0.78 €/l for diesel in the cheapest one. Rental cars are also pretty inexpensive there (I experienced it myself last summer).

Euro 95 (gas) hit an all-year low with € 1,519 per liter. That's still $ 7.8 a gallon though.

I am sorry. I forgot to mention, it's indeed - as Stifler mentioned - Euro 95.

The area: Malaga and surroundings.

Thanks to the recent drop in the loonie, Buffalo gas prices now are higher of that of Toronto's.

Now slightly lower at $3.65/gal (€0.71, CAD$1.11/liter).

On my way to DC, I saw gas prices in Pennsylvania as low as $3.09 (€0.60/liter).

Today in my neck of the woods regular petrol was €0,64/L. The market made a huge plunge and so did petrol prices.

The US average is now $3.29 (€0.642/liter).

That's a 25% decrease from it's peak, but they haven't fallen as fast as crude oil.

Buffalo is at $3.61 (€0.705/liter).

According to gas buddy,

Regular gas for

US - 3.215 / 2.761
CA - 3.377 / 2.758
SF - 3.657
OL - 3.562
SJ - 3.601

Second price is 1 year ago.

I sincerely hope the population will not take gas for granted now, and keep the high prices in mind. Otherwise, we'll be in another vicious cycle, and oil will rise again.

And that's even just at the motorway. At the Shell Express stations it's currently just €1,37-€1,38 per liter.

Fuel prices dropped significantly the last few days in the Netherlands.

Euro 95: € 1,462 / $ 7.6
Diesel: € 1,229 / $ 6.4

These are the average domestic advisory price. Local gas stations can discount up to 11 eurocents a liter. I fueled up for € 1,13 yesterday. (diesel).
