London: Open House and more

This past weekend was the annual London Open House event and the weather couldn't have been better (just like last year).

I was lucky enough to get pre-book tickets for a tour of the Willis building, one of the newest office buildings in the City of London.

Views from the 23rd floor terrace:

Lloyds of London reflections in exterior of Willis building:

Another open building; the lobby of the Daily Express building on Fleet Street:

Inside the Royal Courts of Justice:

Random, Mellon Financial Centre and an older building near Blackfriars:

Touristy; the sky was so blue I couldn't resist!

Porticullis House exterior; no photography was allowed inside:

On to Chinatown for dinner:

Then a movie, a stroll, and a few night shots along the way:

These are your own photos, hence should have been posted in Urban Showcase. We will move threads once for people, but if they continue to be placed in the wrong section we sadly have to delete them. So please help everyone save time and energy by familiarizing yourselves with the forum rules and posting in the correct section! Thanks

What is it with the trolls and threads on London? It's an amazing city, one of the best in the world and will continue to be so for many years to come.

Excellent photos, thank you very much for sharing, Jeremai!

kuw01medan and howelee, grow up and show some respect.

Excellent pictures jeremai, thank you very much for posting. It never occurred to me that those ledges on the Willis building would provide such a good viewing platform.
