Spot the difference. Actually I find the new motorways in Kosovo really well-looking. Their road signs are in croatian style, which is not bad at all! I wish we did that in Bulgaria as well...

And one distance sign on Hemus motorway:

Ops, sorry, you can't see it. So I give you another example:

Bulgaria new signs are also YU style inspired. Even the same font as in Serbia/BiH/Macedonia/Slovenia. So YU style is new black in the region
But to be frank it is the best option comparing with others.

Very nice motorways ! Quite nice to see how fast they grow in Kosovo !

I agree with those who say the signage is YU-style, & I don't see what's wrong with it ! ... Don't get mad at each other for such opinions, guys !

"Richtgeschwindigkeit" should be the default system in all EU motorways & expressways & lane indiscipline should be harshly fought! Down with radars on motorways!

Is it true that the motorway will have/or has a 140kmph speed limit, somebody told me they heard it being mentioned on the TV. If yes, I think it means that Kosovo will have the highest speed limit in the region, maybe not something to be proud of theough.

Actually, it was mentioned that motorway is designed for 140 km/h speed limits. But the actual speed limit in this motorway is 130 km/h.

The first 38 kilometers cost about 338 Mil. Euro. Calculate by yourself

Not really a low amount... Do you have a source for that (press article or something like that?)?

That's what the Minister of Infrastructure, Fehmi Mujota, said was the figure, in millions, spent for expropriation purposes in a press conference. I looked around for any links, but wasn't able to find any that specify the exact amount. Sorry.

There will be some gas stations along the motorway, but they're not opened yet. At the three first building sections, two gas stations are planned. Here (42.2325, 20.6944) and here (42.3113, 20.7655).

Before opening:

The road signs are covered now:

Are there any videos from the part between Prizren north and Suhareka? I need it to edit this section in Openstreetmap.
