Please...there is no bigger fraud in the NFL at the moment than the New Orleans Saints and the well-publicized bountygate saga. It's pathetic, but your comment is totally expected from a Saints fan.

In all seriousness the birds still need some consistency on offense, especially with regards to the running game. As an OC Dirk has been very good but he's schizophrenic regarding his use of Turner and Quizz Rodgers. He really needs to hone the 2nd half play calling to sustain drives so as not to leave the defense on the field so long.

Defensively the Falcons are still struggling to contain on 3rd and long. Credit Brees and company for keeping plays alive, but the pass rush fails to collapse the pocket and makes it too easy for a fair NFL QB to do this.

3 more wins needed to clinch home field throughout the NFC playoffs.
The Falcons didn't struggle against the Giants on Sunday! They actually looked like the top team in the NFC for a change.

Here we go again!!

Tebow to join hometown team??

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/t...gabbert-122212

I believe this will be the third time in 2 years, that rumors have surfaced about Tim Tebow playing for the Jags.

I had a Cowboys Star as my avatar for 2-3 years. I have "Farewell Texas Stadium" in my sig.

I do not like the Saints, nor many of their bandwagon fans they conjured after their '09 Super Bowl win.

I am rooting for the Falcons to win the Super Bowl if the Cowboys don't make it.

Care to try again? You don't deserve any benefit of the doubt from me after labeling me a Saints fan. The Falcons' first half of the season was weak. They've since regained their footing but the true test will be after the first round bye.

I expect the Falcons to get knocked out in the first round again, ditto the Texans.

Welp, those Saints won another close one in Cowboys Stadium. In 2010 Roy Williams could have sealed the game for the Cowboys after a long catch and run, but, he fumbled the ball and gave Drew Brees enough time to come back and win the game.

Today, the Cowboys defense folded when it counted most and lost in OT.

Dale, until the Falcons win that divisional round game, there is no reason to have faith in them. Which is part of my original point that I made when we said they were a fraud.

If the Cowboys fans don't boycott they don't have any right to whine. Don't have any sympathy for them unless they put their money where their mouths are.

Posted this in the Texas sub forum:

Cowboys and Redskins play for the NFC East title tonight.

The Cowboys have to be one of the most confounding teams in recent history, especially under Jerry Jones.

They sink to 3-5, losing big games, and fans across the country want to rip their hair out. Now, they have a chance to win the division and enter the playoffs as the 4th seed. They put us fans in a strange limbo, on the verge of both success and mediocrity. I guess Jerry wouldn't have it any other way as there is always a slight glimmer of hope enough to continue to line his pockets with revenue every season.

And if the Cowboys lose Cowboys fans will continue to grouse and then fill the stadium the next game.

Jags owner wants fresh start for next season!!

Major shift in management recently announced as the Jags dismiss both the G.M. and Head Coach in one fell swoop after a dissapointing record of 2-14.

What's the local mood and chatter about the Jags relocating?

The Jags owner has assured that the team will not be uprooted and that he is totally committed to the city, the team, as well as the fans. He also stated during yesterday's press conference that the organization will no longer pursue QB Tim Tebow as part of the Jags rebuilding process.

Tebow isn't smart if your team is rebuilding. Tebow has become more of a name than a player. If the Jags were to get him, I'd hope they put him in a FB or TE position and not waste anymore time while trying to find another QB.

I've always liked Jacksonville, I really hope they find their way back to the playoffs soon.

^Although Gabbert is damaged goods, that's basically what they would be doing with Tebow. Sustaining mediocrity.

Really ? Tebow's won more games than either Gabbert or Henne combined. And even without starting Tebow they'd put an extra 20K in the seats and we wouldn't have to look at that silly tarp.

May the Jags forever languish.

Lol, both Gabbert and Henne suck. You have no argument from me on their behalf. However, let's be honest here, all three are mediocre at best. Tebow would only result in a short attendance bump in Gator fans. However, that would get old real quick as the losses add up. The goal is to win games not baptize souls. Nevertheless, when Tebow finishes his football career, he may have a good future as a Baptist preacher. As for the tarps, Jax would set NFL attendance records if they could fill up that college football stadium without them.
