Can´t remember the name of the street, but it was a hostel near Boulevard du Montparnasse.

Thanks for your comments

Another great set from a gorgeous city! I stayed near Pasteur station when I was in Paris in a small hotel about 500m from the station so very close to where you stayed! Great location and fantastic bars!

I have to say I disagree about the bars. We walked the area and could only find expensive wine bars. Ultimately we found a pub which was ok. To be honest nightlife in central Paris is pretty non existant. You have to know the right places which is kinda hard for a tourist. Fantastic city though!

Cheers guys

I would agree that compared to London, Madrid or Barcelona or even Berlin, that Paris is not as animated at night. However, the Bastille area has many, many bars and is very lively and the Marais has many gay bars. Les Halles also has many bars.

I found a great pub that was completely buzzing due to the fact that a rugby game is on (Kiwis vs French). I had a good laugh with the French (as I was moving to NZ in a few months) and started cheering for the Kiwis who were completely thrashing the French. It was pretty good natured and it kept me entertained until 4:00 in the morning anyway.

London and Berlin are definitely more lively, I agree. Though I still found the Parisians great fun to be out with at night.

Another worth worth-while thing to know is that many nightclubs in Paris are underground. I literally mean underground, as in the basements. Since many of them don't build long lines in the entrances that are more than 3-5 people at a time, you don't know it's a nightclub. You may just think it's a group of people in front of a door. But once you go inside they can be very full. So you need to know addresses or know locals for some of those places.

Excellent pics !

I love this one, very urban (and I can see the apartments block where I live, center left on the pic).
