#APPROVED: WATERFRONT RESIDENTIAL TOWER , ?F Res (Dubai Maritime City)

DIRC to unveil projects worth Dhs1.8bn at Cityscape Dubai 2008

Dubai Investments Real Estate Company (DIRC), the real estate arm of Dubai Investments PJSC, will unveil two luxury residential projects worth a combined Dhs1.8bn at the upcoming Cityscape Dubai 2008 property exhibition.

The projects include the Dhs300m Violet Tower, an upscale residential tower in Jumeirah Village, and a waterfront residential tower, worth Dhs1.5bn, located in the heart of Dubai Maritime City.

In addition to these prestigious projects, DIRC will showcase at Cityscape the recently-launched Mirdiff Hills - an Dhs2bn mixed-use development - as well as upcoming residential, commercial and hotel projects in Meydan, which are worth a combined Dhs1bn.

Obaid Al Salami, General Manager of DIRC, said:

'This is the third successive year that DIRC is participating in Cityscape Dubai. We had an extensive presence in the last two editions of the show, where our projects attracted an overwhelming response from investors and contributed greatly towards enhancing our brand visibility and market position.'

'As the region's premier real estate trade show, Cityscape Dubai attracts high-potential visitors from across the Middle East and beyond, and this year too we expect to capitalize on the business opportunities offered by the show to highlight our diverse mix of real estate projects,' Al Salami said.

DIRC's exclusive waterfront residential tower in Dubai Maritime City consists of world-class apartments and penthouses. The project will feature 11,000 square feet of retail area on the ground floor and offer a range of recreational facilities to provide residents a vibrant community lifestyle. In all, the tower will comprise 14 penthouses, 145 three-bedroom apartments, 138 two-bedroom apartments and an equal number of one-bedroom apartments.

Violet Tower is a 25-storey residential tower that offers all the comforts and convenience of a modern, cosmopolitan lifestyle. Located within the idyllic setting of Jumeirah Village, the project offers 254 elegantly designed apartments including studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments.

At Cityscape Dubai 2008, DIRC will occupy Stand ZE60 at the Zabeel Hall of Dubai International Exhibition Centre. The exhibition runs from October 6th to 9th, 2008.
