Impressive; though despite it's height, I do like Burj Dubai a little more, far more elegant. This is just a huge chunk.

Anyway, a 7 star hotel and a 5 star hotel, residences, offices, exhibition and convention centre; this is going to be a rather busy place; especially for one with 40 000 workers and 80 000 residents.

One thing though, it claims to be Dubai's capital. Does it mean arms of government will move in? Silly question but kinda curious.

They should've used the shift lens principle for the render though, the top is awfully skewed. That's arch photography/rendering 101.

Unless "the mile" but i think not and the 2.4km dubai tower... but also vision.

guys good work but the final height is still unknown and all that nakheel is saying is more than 1km tall and more than 200 floors,this could end up at 1400 for all we know.

No, that's the name of the whole project. The tower is Nakheel Tower, and the inlet from the creek at the base is Nakheel Harbor.
