I believe it is leaning. Very sleek, one of the better projects to show up recently.

Doesn't look like it was leaning to me.

Pretty understated design though.

Some renders have appeared in some forums recently. Of course they didn't mention the source

Wuhan Riverview Plaza
Wuhan, China
2013

The towers at Riverview Plaza will be among some of the tallest buildings in Wuhan. At a height of 460 meters, they are landmark buildings and civic symbols. They express the history of Wuhan and the aspiration of the City, the emergence of Wuhan as the political, economic, financial, cultural, education and transportation center of Central China. Wuhan was born at the convergence of Yangtze River and Hanshui River. Geograhpically, Wuhan is a city of rivers and lakes. The soaring forms of the three towers is inspired by the form of boats used to be found along Yangtze River. The soaring forms also represent the optimism and confidence of Wuhan.

The site of Riverview Plaza is bound by Huang Pu Road to the north, Lu Gou Qiao Road to the south, Jing Han Road and the LRT line to the west and Zhong Shan Road to the east. The development consists of three towers ranging in height from 460 meters (A1), 190 meters (A3) to 160 meters (A2). Both A2 and A3 towers are designed for office occupancy with 23 and 30 office floors respectively. A1 Tower next to Lu Gou Qiao Road, at a height of 460 meters, is designed for mixed use occupancy with 46 office floors and a five-star hotel (15 hotel floors) with breath taking views of the City and the River.

The design of the exterior wall for the three towers is a contemporary interpretation of traditional decorative elements of Chinese architecture. The artful patterns on the curtain wall are inspired by patterns of traditional decorative window screens in Chinese architecture. The vision glass panels will consist of energy efficient double glazing units complying with the requirements of LEED standard.

At the base of the development is a four level retail podium. The roof terrace at Level 5 will be occupied by a convention center, Cineplex and restaurants and outdoor cafes. The scale and design of the podium responds to the urban character of Lot A4 Wuhan Tiandi on the east side of Zhong Shan Road. The mix of urban squares and pedestrian streets and the extensive presence of trees and other green elements contribute to the making of Wuhan Tiandi as a successful urban addition to Wuhan. It is our strong belief that the elements of trees, trellis covers and flowers should be extended to the design of Riverview Plaza, where the entire roof podium is designed as an outdoor garden in the sky where the citizens of Wuhan can enjoy wonderful views of the green belt at Wuhan Tiandi and a glimpse of Yangtze River and the Second Bridge.

There is a public plaza located at the corner of Lu Gou Qiao Road and Zhong Shan Road. This public plaza is furnished with a huge electronic screen, a perfect setting for the citizens of Wuhan to celebrate New Year and other festivities. There are also exterior stairs and escalators leading up to the sky garden, restaurants and other amenities at Level 5. Entrances to the retail centre are located at Lu Gou Qiao Road, Huang Pu Road and Zhong Shan Road. A lineal four-storey atrium runs the entire length of the retail centre bringing natural light to the interior of the retail centre.

Drop-offs for the A1 Office Tower and the 5-star hotel are located at Lu Gou Qiao Road. Drop-off for the A2 Office Tower is located at the private road between Lot A1 and Lot A2, and drop-off for the A3 Office Tower is located at the corner of Zhong Shan Road and Huang Pu Road. There are five ingress and egress ramps for the entire development, with three located at Lot A1, one located at Lot A2 and one located at Lot A3. The loading requirements for the retail center will be located at street level, on the west side of the development. The loading requirements for the hotel and office components of the project will be located below grade at Level B1.

The proposed development will have three below grade levels, with Level B1 allocated to mechanical plant rooms, loading and parking. Levels B2 and B3 are both allocated to parking with provision for approximately 2,100 parking spaces.
