It is true yes, and there is a project for Trabzon, but still no any works or acts for starting the construction.

I have put some pictures recently , from construction scenes for both samsun and gaziantep systems. And the works are ongoing for two new systems we expecting to complate both in mid 2010.

Great system, I didn't even know this city existed, and now it has a modern tram system congratuations Kayseri and Turkey.

I also knew this city mainly for it's footbal team (Kayserispor) but thanks to new tram system I visited the Wikipedia site about Kayseri

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality placed a €42m order in August 2014 for 30 trams that will augment its existing fleet of 38 AnsaldoBreda Sirio vehicles. The 100% low-floor Bozankaya trams are being built in Ankara, and are being fitted with traction equipment from Traktionssysteme Austria and Polish supplier Medcom to run on the 750 V DC network. The bidirectional trams are 35 m long and have five sections
