Port that links up to Kigoma in Tanzania, the longest beaches in Congo, and now oil, but I hope fishing is revived back don't want to see this lake polluted.

Butembo and MBA-Congo,

Kalemie has a lot of potential: industrial fishing, light manufacture and tourist. It hurts for me to see a beautiful city like this dying because of corruptions in Kinshasa and lack of leadership.

it's being revived. One of my father's friend just brought an island near the lake and started building a lodge their. The government is giving loans to people who are interested in kick starting the fishing sector loans from 500,000 to 1million dollar people have already applied. It's going to be the capital of Tanganyika province, Kabalo isn't to far away with mining being revived their the wealth will most likely trickle down to Kalemie. So Kalemie is going to be just fine.

MBA-CONGO

I am glad you are optimistic. I have lost confidence on current leadership, they failed test ... secure our border, provide basic service such as running water , education and electricity to major cities.

Future Tanganyika province is it majority lubakata or lunda? Please advise. I have been to Katanga, visited Kamina and Kaniema kasese in 1982 , never been to south Katanga.

Thank you,

Majority are Lubakat because the Lunda are in western Katanga .

you should already know, Mulopwe your Luba yourself, but Tanganyika Province is Lubakati with bembe and other so called associated tribes. Lunda is southern Katanga more than it is western, anyhow all that doesn't matter at the end of it their still Luba.
