Late 30's, Olvera Street (notice how the narrator pronounces L.A. with a hard G and the swastika on the wall at 2:30):

This video deals with the final moments of the street car.

I dont see too many people walking around, even in downtown L.A. Kind of reminds me of Atlanta.

right place right time. i've seen downtown and hollywood dead, but i've seen people crowd the streets as far as i can see shoulder to shoulder (both places, past and present)

I honestly don't like Koreatown because it seems that they don't cater to other ethnicity, seeing how all signs are in Korean with no English translation...and when I speak English with them they get angry.

i happen to love koreatown. always was a great neighborhood, even during hard times (1992 anyone?). never had a problem speaking english there but i hear about it as an issue for some. my friends growing up were mostly from there too. the video is pretty good in it's simple form.
