Remedios de Escalda-Buenos Aires Province
Photo taken by wiki user "Banfield" Remedios de Escalada is a city in Buenos Aires Province, it covers an area of 9,95 km² and the population is 81,465; the demonym for its inhabitants is "escaladense." The town was first established by Agustín Eguren as Edén Argentino ("Argentine Eden"), a bedroom community, in 1873. Its population remained in the few hundreds until, in 1890, the Buenos Aires Great Southern Railway inaugurated a rail yard in the adjoining Villa Galíndez, to the east. La Fraternidad, one of Argentina's first and oldest trade unions, was founded by workers at the site in 1880. ![]()

Nice pic Jorge. Here's another of Perito Moreno Glacier.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Perito Moreno Glacier-Santa Cruz Province The Perito Moreno Glacier is a glacier located in the Los Glaciares National Park (UNESCO World Heritage). The 250 km2 (97 sq mi) ice formation, and 30 km (19 mi) in length, is one of 48 glaciers fed by the Southern Patagonian Ice Field located in the Andes system. This icefield is the world's third largest reserve of fresh water. Pic from Flickr ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us |
