Cathedral of La Plata (Catedral de La Plata)

This impressive neogothic catholic church is the icon of La Plata city, capital of Buenos Aires province (only 56 km from Buenos Aires city).
It's located in Moreno Square, in the center of the city, and in front of the city hall (so beautiful too)
Its towers, finished in 1999, are 112 metres hihg, so it's the highest church in America.
The statue you can see in the photo is par of a fountain in the square

Villavicencio Hotel (Hotel Villavicencio)

This beautiful building is located on a natural reserve in Mendoza Province.
It was built in 1940, but closed in 1978 (because of the fucking military government). I think there is a proyect to re-open the hotel.
"Villavicencio" is also a company that bottles the water that goes into the rocks because of Aconcagua's thaws that goes out in this zone.
It's not in the highs of the Andes, it's located in the Precordillera (mountains near the Andes), so the environment of the hotel is ot full of rocks and ici like in the Andes, but also full of trees, plants and green.

Ruins of San Ignacio Mini- Misiones Province

It is located in the town of San Ignacio, just 60 km. Posadas, capital city of the province of Misiones.
To pass the gate of the ruins of San Ignacio Mini is starting to move the scene of one of the most important experiences of the colonial period in South America. The whole story is situated in the middle of the jungle, illustrated with pictures Baroque, painted with the colors of an exuberant nature that strives to show off their colors brighter and written in Guarani language.

Restored between 1940-50, San Ignacio is the best preserved architectural Jesuit in Argentine territory. Since 1984, incorporates the World Heritage List of UNESCO.

El Bolson

El Bolsón is a pretty patagonic town located in Rio Negro province, very near Bariloche.
I think the best period to visit it is in SPRING, because of the lots of beautiful trees that surround the town.
On the back of the photo, that mountain in called Piltriquitron.
I don't know why, but it makes me remind the movie "Lord of rings"

Summits of the Aconquija of Tucumán's province

The Sierra del Aconquija is the natural dividing line between the Argentine provinces of Tucuman, and Catamarca, south of passage known as El Infiernillo. Its maximum height was recorded in the glaciers of Mount Baggins (5,552 meters); Cerro de las Dos Lagunas and Los Cerrillos to 5,500 meters and the Cerro Ñuñorco.
At the peaks of the Sierras, as he said, exceeded the 5,000 m, last glacial cirques formed during the last glaciation.
