WOW! This thread is just massive! It will take a little time to trip through all of these pages, but based on these last few, the photos are wonderful. Argentina is absolutely beautiful. Personally, I find this country, its people and the culture truly fascinating. Rich in history also.

Thanks for sharing!

Zarate-Buenos Aires Province

Taken by flickr member Andres Martin

Zárate is a city in the northeast of the province of Buenos Aires. It lies on the western shore of the Paraná River, 90 km (57 mi) from Buenos Aires.

The city is located at one end of the Zárate-Brazo Largo Bridge, which joins Buenos Aires with the province of Entre Ríos and allows communication with the Argentine Mesopotamia and from there to Brazil and Uruguay.

Oh, Bariloche is so charming! Probably the closest experience to Switzerland that we could find over here in South America. And Zarate is so amazing! I mean, it looks so flat that i could swear i can see the end of the world in the edge.

Plains-Between Santa Fe and Buenos Aires Provinces

The immense and fertile central plains of the Pampas.

The Pampas, are one of the largest fertile plains in the world, they cover over one third of Argentina's land area.

Valle del Sol-Mendoza Province

Valle del Sol and the Andes behind.

The Argentine Andes have the highest peaks in the world outside of the Himalayas.

The five highest peaks in both the Western and Southern Hemispheres are located in the central Argentine Andes.
