Liverpool, European Capital Of Culture, 2008

I visited Liverpool for one night earlier in the year, and thought i'd share these photo's with you. Liverpool is a fantasic City, and I hope you enjoy these photo's.

One of the "great" cities of the old British Empire -- and still going strong. Looks like it has so much potential now, along with a growing skyline.

Great thread and excellent pictures! I quite liked Liverpool - it had a lot of character when I was there. It was, however, a little rough around the edges which, to me, gave it even greater impact than it would otherwise.

Thanks for the comments! Yes Liverpool is exiting at the moment, with a lot of modern high rise architecture changing the skyline, and many more planned for the future.
